It's Easter Sunday tomorrow! My friend gave me a basket filled with chocolate Caramel Easter eggs, a Lindt bunny, Snickers eggs, jelly beans and a cute little fluffy lamb!! I was so thrilled with it. Hope you all have a wonderful Easter.

Pink Rosebud Cake - Finally Sold!

Remember that cute Pink Rosebud Birthday Cake I made about 6 months ago? It was the prettiest cake I'd made (I thought) yet it sat in my shop and it sat in my shop and no-one bought it. Even the little teddy bear sitting next to it started to look forlorn.
But then this morning it sold! Love it when that happens - just when I'm about to give up on an item and give it away to a friend. :)

Easter Egg Decorations

Easter's not far off now is it?! "Oh to be in England now that April's here" (and I can't get Malteaser Easter eggs in California...!)

I made several tiny Easter egg ornaments for dollhouse Easter displays. 1:12 (one inch) scale in pastel colours and with lots of fabulous pretty shades of glitter. There are still some left at my shop.

A glimpse into my Workspace...

Wow, it's hot here today in LA! Just had lunch with a friend at my favourite cafe, sat outside, got home and had to take another shower immediately.
Anyway....!
Even though Hallowe'en is months and months away I still seem to get requests for my old Hallowe'en 2010 Cake design and they sell throughout the year. So... even though I didn't think I'd ever make more of this particular design, I spent a good deal of yesterday making more (since I was totally sold out).

Took some snaps along the way because I know people in 'blogland' often prefer to see my 'un-posed' photographs. :)

Italian Fashion - well Pizza for your ears at any rate!

Add a little Italian glamour to your outfit! Aren't these pizza earrings cute? Have a slice of salami and olive on mozzarella... they come in dangle - small, smaller and hoops. All my findings are surgical steel but also available in silver plated findings - just ask.

Pizza and a movie!

I don't know about you but I love ordering in a pizza and watching a movie (isn't Netflix the best?) Well I'm working on a lot of new products for 2011 so I want to clear out some designs and make room. I took some more photos of my Pizza Range and have listed the remaining pizzas at my shop at a discounted price. One inch (1:12) scale and made with passion and great attention to detail. I don't use real herbs on my pizzas (despite some of the miniature-making books suggesting doing this) because it means the pizza will eventually mold (and /or attract insects) and I like my minis to last forever, so it's clay all the way! :)
