Gingerbread Houses 2015

Hope you caught my gingerbread village in my previous post here.

I finished them off and they're my most detailed yet. They're my own unique designs of course, and inspired by traditional German gingerbread houses (aka lebkuchenhaus). They're ever so detailed, decorated with tiny candy (all made by me, no pre-made canes, no molds used). 1:12 scale and handmade using polymer clay.

Tuned into Hummingbird's Channel yet?

No, I haven't disappeared! I've just been adjusting to my move to New Zealand these past 3 weeks. As many of you know, I will be here in NZ for the next 4.5 months (until Nov 2012), so all orders will be dispatched from the capitol city of New Zealand. ;) I am unsure how long it will take for my packages to reach Europe, the US and Canada... so to give people an added incentive to continue shopping with me I'll be lowering many of my prices across my shop. (Note - my shop WILL be re-opening verrrrrry soon!).

Pink Rosebud Cake - Finally Sold!

Remember that cute Pink Rosebud Birthday Cake I made about 6 months ago? It was the prettiest cake I'd made (I thought) yet it sat in my shop and it sat in my shop and no-one bought it. Even the little teddy bear sitting next to it started to look forlorn.
But then this morning it sold! Love it when that happens - just when I'm about to give up on an item and give it away to a friend. :)
