Care for Christmas Cupcakes?

I hardly ever make miniature cupcakes as I find them so fiddly, but I've made some very cute ones for this Christmas, and hope you like them! They're one inch scale, have paper cases and different candies on top - all handmade by myself.

I will be making them available at my online Hummingbird Miniatures Etsy shop tomorrow. I am selling them individually.

PS If you'd prefer to make your own cupcakes instead of buying one of my handmade cakes, then why not follow my cupcake tutorial and try it yourself?!

My Workspace - Making the Birthday Hutch

In case you missed it, in my last post I mentioned I am starting a new range of Hummingbird Miniatures furniture starting with colourful hutches filled with wonderful things. :)

** Note to my non-US friends. A Welsh dresser in America is called a 'hutch'!!! Using American English on this occasion as I have more US readers than non-US. Hope no-one minds and confusion has been averted!

Here's some photos of my work in progress. I'm starting by making a Birthday Hutch which will include a NEW candy birthday cake (pictured above). Stay tuned and look out for these finished hutches soon. You'll be able to see one or two listed at my Hummingbird Miniatures online shop and others will be sold exclusively at fairs.

My Workspace... Hummingbird Furniture

Now this is what I call a sneak peek! You can barely tell what I am doing, but that's because I want it to be a fun surprise. I've been busily designing and making new special furniture pieces for Hummingbird Miniatures (and also my other blog with most recent update here) and will have great new pieces for upcoming fairs and also my online shop.
