Magical Midsummer Cakes....

This beautiful SPECIAL EDITION Midsummer Night's Dream Birthday Cake was made for my best friend Katarina's birthday this June. I made one more exactly the same for sale.

The Midsummer Night's Dream Birthday Cake is cherry cake with pink sugar frosting. It is decorated with fine pale pink piping, handmade green sugar leaves, sugar cherry blossom and pink sprinkles. Finished with a wreath of anemone flowers, shimmery pink rose and fancy rainbow birthday candles.

This is a pretty realistically moist-looking Cherry Cake Loaf drizzled with white glace icing and topped off with more glace cherries. Made by me using polymer clay and in 1:12 (one inch) scale.

Harrods Strawberry Patisserie Cake

This is a Harrods Strawberry Patisserie Cake. Made to resemble one from the famous shop in London, it has layers of sponge, strawberry parfait, strawberry glaze and is decorated with a chocolate piece and slice of strawberry. Made with Polymer clay in 1:12 scale.
