My Workspace... Independence Day

Just finished sharing some photos of some new miniatures 'in-the-making' on my Pixie Dust Miniatures blog and thought I'd do the same here! I'm working all out to get ready for the Tom Bishop miniature show which is at the end of this month. If I have any Independence Day items left I'll take them along, but I doubt I'll make more if I run out before then.

Happy Independence Day!

...a day late! I hope you all had a wonderful time yesterday. I really enjoyed it (so much so in fact that I haven't had the time until now to touch base with my computer). Saw the fireworks display over the Queen Mary in Long Beach. Amazing. Though not nearly as impressive a fireworks display as the one at Alexandra Palace, London for Bonfire Night. :)

Baking for the 4th!

With Independence Day on the way I've made some fun 4th of July cakes and patisserie chocolates. I only made 3 Limited Edition Independence Day cakes and 1 has already sold, so click here if you're keen not to miss out! There are also some chocolate Statues of Liberty and the photos don't really show it but the bases they're on are really pretty glitter card stock. Great for a fancy patisserie display and after all she's French-made!

BBQ Miniatures ready for 4th July!

Hi everyone!
Independence Day is looming... hope everyone has some fabulous plans! I can't wait to see the fireworks myself. I've made an array of BBQ and picnic foods and some sweet 4th of July items as well. I'll share just the miniatures from the grill for today. :) All one inch (1:12) scale and handmade by me from polymer clay.
