Christmas Preview and Shop Announcement

Hello everyone,
Hope you're all wrapped up warm and starting to feel the Christmas buzz...
I'm currently in New Zealand and it's technically the end of their spring / start of summer, so it doesn't exactly feel like Christmas is coming any time soon for me!

Here's a glimpse at some of my new Christmas Range for 2012. Several of these Christmas items are featured in and on the front cover of this month's issue of DHMS magazine (I'll write a post about this soon).
Aside from the roast goose (which has already sold), there will be Christmas wreaths (entirely handmade by myself from scratch, and very detailed), Christmas cookies, traditional gingerbread houses, brussels sprouts, candy canes, festive candles, candle center pieces, hurricane candles, Christmas cakes and Yule logs. Note that some of these items are OOAK (one of a kind) - so there may only be one available.

I am flying out of New Zealand in just less than 4 day's time and arriving in London Heathrow, UK on Wednesday 21st November. This means that I will have to close my shop for a couple of days whilst I fly. Cover Girl!

Yay - finally got my first front cover! If you pick up a copy of the US magazine 'Dollhouse Miniatures' then you'll find my patisserie I made last Feb on the cover. It's a September 2012 issue and is out now.
Inside is a 5 page feature on my work (covering both Hummingbird Miniatures and my fairytale brand - Pixie Dust Miniatures). Also in this magazine is a tutorial I gave for the upcoming spooky season... more on this here.

Tuned into Hummingbird's Channel yet?

No, I haven't disappeared! I've just been adjusting to my move to New Zealand these past 3 weeks. As many of you know, I will be here in NZ for the next 4.5 months (until Nov 2012), so all orders will be dispatched from the capitol city of New Zealand. ;) I am unsure how long it will take for my packages to reach Europe, the US and Canada... so to give people an added incentive to continue shopping with me I'll be lowering many of my prices across my shop.
